Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

Basically its nothing then but being used as a political shot
This, Geordie Howe bridge, supply management, China…the Administration is behoven to gift King Trump gifts for America 250 on July 1st.

just gotta hold out till the id terms, if the dems win, Trump will get neutered in his ability to do things

Any takers that either one of the son's or his daughter runs for the Republican Presidential ticket for 2028?
Rubio or Vance take the loss in 2028, american public sours on the dems because of "reasons" and forget all about Trump and MAGA and Eric wins in 2032 and its the same stupidity all over again.

From a Canadian context, don't take the Dems winning as anything but a temporary interlude. Plan for the chaos as a long running American policy.

And how would that option work here?
far fetched maybe but start by simply saying no without the fancy political bafflegab. Use some of those hundreds of thousands of civil servants to assist stricken industries to identify other markets. Remove the industrial roadblocks such as the entire carbon capture conditions on acceptance and any others that are ensuring that nothing happens such as standing up to the first nations and getting the Churchill developments fast tracked. We certainly can't blockade the St. Lawrence although a $100,000 fee for American ships using the Welland might cause a bit of agitation. So far all we seem to have done is back down.

If we charge large fees on the Welland Canal for US ships, then they'll do the same to us at the Sault Locks in the UP.
